Cork Talk: Cork leather (or cork fabric as it's also known) is the best vegan leather you can find. The fabric is created by first taking thin cork sheets which are sliced from planks (or blocks) of cork oak trees. These thin sheets are then adhered to a fabric support. The transformation from cork sheet to cork fabric is complete with the application of a protective coating which provides the superior finish.
- Set of 4 coasters
- Made from natural cork leather
- Each coaster measures between 9-10cm

Cork Care: Cleaning is a cinch. Simply wipe away cup rings with warm water and a small amount of dishwashing liquid. Then wipe with clean water. Allow to dry completely.
Cork is as individual as you are so every coaster will look slightly different.
I haven’t read the description in detail so was a bit disappointed when I received a hand sown coaster made of PU and not of cork (natural material) I was after. They are nice, easy to store and clean so I will keep them.
Dear Lenka, I am sorry that our coasters are not what you were looking for, but I am glad that you still like them. I'd like to assure you that our coasters are most definitely not PU, they are made of cork leather (also known as cork fabric). Thin pieces of natural cork shavings bonded to fabric backing to create this vegan alternative to leather. You can read more about cork leather here https://tsomdesign.com.au/pages/why-cork It's not a solid piece of cork wood, but still natural cork, not plastic, and I do hope you will enjoy tsom coasters for years to come. All the best, Nadia
